Hitting the big 3
The title just sums it up! I am hitting the big 3 soon (sooner than I hope, actually)...... What have I achieved so far? Not much I guess..... I'm still going through the journey of life. Though the roads may not always be smooth but I am thankful that it is not too bumpy for me either.There is still a lot of things that I need to do and improve and other things that I am thankful for.
I am thankful for my husband who knows me and understand my quirks, my moods and my idiosyncrasies. I hope that I have been a isteri mithali and not menyesali? *LOL*
I am thankful for my children who are healthy but naughty... :) I hope that I have been the best mother for them.
I am thankful for my parents and sisters who is always there for me. Though, I've realised that we've grown apart these past few months..... I know that deep down we are still the same and we will not lose the bond that we had. I hope that I have been a good daughter to my wonderful parents and an examplary sister to younger sisters.
I am thankful for all my families and friends and the blessings from God.
I have also realised that I have not been a good Muslim and I really need to improve on that. Insya'allah, I will try my best to dekatkan diri dengan Allah and be a better Muslim.
I told myself that I will don the tudung before I hit 30 unfortunately I am not ready. I do not want to be one of those ladies who don the tudung as a fashion statement or do it just because ......
I really need to be sincere and pure (in the heart lah ..the mind is already corrupted when I reach 18 hahahha) before I am able to do it, so let me put the donning of the tudung as a milestone that I need to achieve in my life. I sincerely hope that I will be able to achieve that soon.
So moving on to the more important things .... *winks*
Hubby asked me what I wanted for my birthday this year and told him to choose any one from the list below :-
* An Omega watch *
* A LV or Coach handbag *
* A tennis bracelet from Cartier or Bvulgari *
* A pair of shoes from Manola Blahniks *
* A suit from Doir or Channel *
* A Toyota Fortuner complete with a driver* yeah, I like big cars
Nah, I am not materialistic cos at the end of the day.... it's your amalan that counts and not the number of branded things. Ceh, macam ustazah gitu. *kekekee*
No, that was not list that I've given to hubby. I told him that his company for the day is enough followed by a romantic evening without the kids. Nak feeling newlyweds lah katakan.
So honey, if you are reading this ..... be prepared cos I have the whip and handcuffs ready. *leering laughs*
