Miz K is down with HFMD :(
My darling lil princess is down with HFMD. It is so sad for us as parents to see our active, vivacious and talkative baby girl to be so quiet. We actually miss her chot-chetchot-chet (stories) and her non-stop questions and story telling.It started with her having fever on Thursday night so we brought her to the clinic bright and early on Friday morning. Doc prescribed some Nurofen and cough mixture for her. Then on Saturday night, she complained of having throat pain and difficulty in swallowing.I thought she was being her usual drama-mama style cos she refuses to have dinner. This just goes to show what a bo-chup mother, I am.
Hubby was at work so we decided to bring her to the clinic again on Sunday morning. After checking her, the Doctor confirmed that she have HFMD cos she got so MANY ULCERS in her throat and it IS very painful for her to swallow. She have a few red spots on her feet and a few on her hands also. Her doctor prescribed some lozenges and anti-imflammotary for her. She now seems to be on ice-cream diet only cos that's the only thing that she wants to eat .
Fortunately, hubby is off today so he can really look after her but I can't take leave tomorrow cos my boss is on leave *kwang kwang kwang*......... Unfortunately, Lil Bu is also having fever so praying hard that he won't get the same disease as his sister. 1 cranky kid is enuff to drive hubby up the wall........... can you imagine having 2?
